apple quietly killed one of my favorite Apple Health features

so I built it back

it used to automatically track your sleep through your screen time without needing an apple watch

but of course they removed it to incentivize you to buy an Apple Watch (or any other wearable)

the only other alternative out there were sketchy subscription-based sleep trackers with unreliable sleep metrics

so I built Twilight, a simple sleep tracker that helps you build & maintain better sleep habits that actually fix your sleep

the sleep tech industry is a $25B business. While some are genuine, there are lots of them whose incentive is to sell you information, not solutions.

because if you really think about it, once you have the solution, you don’t need the subscription

Twilight follows a very different philosophy than the rest of the industry:

we only track the things you have agency over. everything else is just noise (pun intended… iykyk😉)

after living in private beta for 104 days, Twilight is now available on the App Store
